Infinix Launches Affordable GT 30 Pro Gaming Phone

Infinix has launched a new contender in the budget gaming phone market with the GT 30 Pro, targeting gamers who crave performance without breaking the bank. Let's delve into the specifics of this exciting new device.

What Are the Specs?

The GT 30 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate, a chip that's well-regarded for its gaming capabilities. The phone boasts a vibrant 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a smooth 144Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution. With a peak brightness of 1,600 nits and Gorilla Glass 7i protection, your gaming sessions will be both immersive and secure. The in-display fingerprint sensor adds a touch of convenience, while the 13MP front camera ensures you capture clear selfies.

For the avid gamer, Infinix has included shoulder triggers on the GT 30 Pro. These are capacitive and low-latency, supporting remapping to enhance gameplay in titles that require quick reflexes.

Under the hood, you'll find up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM paired with 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage, ensuring swift performance and ample space for your games and apps. The rear camera setup features a 108MP main sensor and an 8MP ultrawide lens, perfect for capturing your gaming adventures. The battery capacity varies by region, offering either a robust 5,500mAh or a slightly smaller 5,200mAh unit.

Charging speeds are impressive with 45W wired and 30W wireless options. Infinix has also integrated bypass charging technology to keep the phone cool during extended gaming sessions.

Running on XOS 15 based on Android 15, the GT 30 Pro comes equipped with AI enhancements powered by DeepSeek R1. The device is IP64-rated, making it resistant to dust and light splashes.

The phone's design, dubbed Cyber Mecha Design 2.0, features bold lines and RGB lighting, available in three striking colors: Blade White, Shadow Ash, and Dark Flare. Check out the dynamic design in this promotional video:

What Do You Think About Infinix GT 30 Pro?

Infinix has also introduced the MagCharge Cooler, a magnetic fan accessory that promises to boost cooling efficiency by about 30 percent, ensuring your gaming sessions remain uninterrupted by overheating concerns.

The true test of the GT 30 Pro's performance will come with time, but the initial specs are promising. In the USA, the phone is expected to be priced at $489 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model, while the 512GB storage variant might cost $529.
