"Infinity Nikki Delays V1.6 Launch After Fan Outcry"

After weeks of players seeking clarity, the development team behind Infinity Nikki has finally addressed the rocky rollout of Version 1.5. Released on April 28th, the update left many feeling that it was rushed and incomplete. The team has since acknowledged their premature launch and, as a result, has decided to delay the much-anticipated Version 1.6.

When Is the Update Releasing?

Originally slated for June 4th, Version 1.6's release has now been rescheduled to June 12th. This delay extends the current Bubble Season, keeping events like Chase the Bubbles, Rainbow Album, and Where Are the Gifties? active until the new release date. Additionally, stores such as Pear-Pal Selected/Store: Clothing, Heartfelt Gifts, and the Shake Up Bubble Jar! top-up event will remain open. Weekly tasks, including Starlit Pursuit, initially planned for May 20th, are now postponed to coincide with Version 1.6.

The developers have issued an apology, citing struggles with cross-platform performance, particularly on PlayStation. They are currently refining gameplay systems and have assured players that missing storylines, such as Threads of Reunion, are not abandoned but merely delayed.

Apart from the Version 1.6 Delays, What’s Up with Infinity Nikki?

The game has recently been plagued with bugs, broken quests, and co-op malfunctions. In an effort to mitigate the fallout, the team is offering daily compensation from June 5th to June 12th, consisting of 120 Diamonds and 1 Crystal per day, which players must log in to claim.

Some community members view this compensation as a last-ditch effort to improve engagement metrics after recent missteps. Additionally, there's been disappointment over the timing of the apology, which was quickly overshadowed by promotional banners for new outfits.
