LG 83-Inch 4K OLED TV Deals at Walmart, Amazon

Author : Ryan Jun 02,2026

LG's Gallery Series OLED TVs don't often get featured in our deals coverage, primarily due to their typically steep price tags. While today's offer isn't what you'd call inexpensive, it represents one of the most compelling price drops we've encountered for one of the finest televisions available. For a limited time, both Walmart and Amazon are selling the 83-inch LG Evo G3 Gallery Series 4K OLED Smart TV for under $2,700, complete with complimentary delivery. To put this deal into perspective, the 2024 83-inch LG G4 model currently retails for a staggering $5,300. The Gallery Series represents LG's flagship OLED lineup and is arguably among the best OLED TVs on the market, full stop.

The G3 model debuted in 2023, placing it one generation behind the current release (note: a "G5" has not yet been announced). Despite this, it remains a superior choice to virtually every other television in LG's catalog—OLED or otherwise—with the only exception being its direct successor, the 2024 G4. The LG G-series OLED outshines the C-series. Both lines incorporate an "Evo" panel that delivers enhanced brightness over traditional W-OLED televisions, but the G-series takes it a step further by integrating MLA (Micro Lens Array) technology for an even more significant brightness boost. This innovation does contribute to a higher price point, but it elevates the picture quality to rival, and sometimes surpass, that of Samsung's quantum dot OLED TVs.

In general, OLED TVs are widely regarded as the pinnacle of television technology available today. When stacked against conventional LED LCD TVs, they provide superior image quality, profoundly deeper black levels, a higher contrast ratio, a wider color gamut, and exceptionally fast response times. Thanks to these benefits, OLED TVs are unequivocally the best choice for experiencing 4K HDR content as it was meant to be seen. LG's OLED televisions, in particular, have been refined over many years and benefit from numerous generations of optimization.

We've selected the LG G-series as our top recommended TV for gaming. It comes equipped with all the features desired in a modern gaming display, including a native 120Hz refresh rate and four HDMI 2.1 ports capable of delivering 4K gaming at 120Hz on consoles like the PS5 and Xbox Series X. It also supports Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM).

It's important to note that LG's G-series TVs do not include a traditional stand. Their design philosophy is centered on wall-mounting, much like a piece of art (which is the inspiration behind the "Gallery" name). Instead of a stand, the package includes a flush-mount wall bracket.

LG G3 4K OLED Smart TV Review by Jaron Schneider

"The LG G3 stands out as one of the most versatile and high-performing televisions you can purchase in 2023. It masterfully displays the best that movies and television have to offer, while also being loaded with the features essential for a premium gaming setup. With outstanding color accuracy, impressive brightness, excellent gaming support, and even quite good audio quality, there are few—if any—superior alternatives available on the market."
