Owning your own house at the age of 18 might seem like the ultimate dream—freedom, your own space, and all before you can legally drink in the US! However, in the game *Your House*, this dream quickly turns into a chilling nightmare. This seemingly cozy abode hides a sinister secret that you'll soon wish you hadn't uncovered.

In this gripping text-based adventure, you step into the shoes of Debbie. On her 18th birthday, she faces expulsion from school, betrayal by her best friend, and a horrific accident involving a car. With everything falling apart, Debbie receives a mysterious key and a letter directing her to the house. Driven by curiosity and desperation, she ventures inside to unravel the enigma that awaits.

Prepare to navigate through dozens of escape room-style puzzles as you explore the house's shadowy corners. A mysterious figure lurks on the sidewalk, watching your every move. You'll need to harness all your ingenuity to help Debbie survive and escape.

The rental market can be murder—perhaps I'm exaggerating the sinister vibe of Your House, but there's undeniably a spooky atmosphere to this puzzle game. As you delve into the nooks and crannies of your new home, the combination of engaging visuals and text-based storytelling makes it a compelling experience.

Be ready for some intense tapping, though. As noted in Catherine's review, the game can be a bit demanding in this aspect, which slightly detracted from her overall experience. However, if you're willing to take your time and scrutinize each screen, the slow-burn pace can be quite rewarding.

*Your House* is available now on iOS and is currently in pre-registration on Android. Keep an eye out for its release, or in the meantime, check out our list of the top 25 best puzzlers for iOS and Android to keep you entertained while you wait!
