Hogwarts Legacy 2: Preorders Open, DLC Unveiled

While the original Hogwarts Legacy was a massive success, it did not receive any major DLC expansions, contrary to widespread expectation. According to a report from Insider Gaming, a Definitive Edition is planned for release in 2025. This director’s cut is expected to include 10–15 hours of fresh DLC content, which may introduce narrative threads for the sequel and deepen ties to the HBO series adaptation.

Currently, the only add-on available is The Dark Arts Legacy Pack, priced at $19.99. It provides players with the Thestral Mount, a Dark Arts Cosmetic Set, and the Dark Arts Battle Arena. This raises the question: will Hogwarts Legacy 2 launch with DLC, or will fans wait months or years for additional content, echoing the pattern of its predecessor?
