"Into a Hearth Yonder: PC Release Announced"

Author : Simon May 27,2025

Developer Sway State Games has unveiled an exciting new project, Into a Hearth Yonder, a cozy creature-collecting MMO-lite that promises a delightfully vibrant art style. Set to launch on PC next year, this game invites players to delve into the enchanting world of Viteria, either solo or with friends, accompanied by adorable automata companions.

In Into a Hearth Yonder, these little automata aren't just for show; they actively enhance your gameplay. Whether you're battling, farming, fishing, mining, or crafting, these companions can provide helpful buffs that tailor your experience to your preferred playstyle. "We thought it would be fun to embody player stats and skills as cute, Tamagotchi-like automata," explained Sway State studio head Chris O'Kelly. "You take joy in collecting and caring for them, and in return, they enhance your exploration of Viteria, improve your quality of life, and empower you to lean fully into your favorite playstyle."

"We aimed to lay out a cozy table of adventure, to explore at your own pace, with plenty of building, crafting, exploration, and magic," O'Kelly elaborated. "It's 'survival' but with less struggle - just a worry-free deceleration, really."

The development team behind Into a Hearth Yonder brings a wealth of experience, having worked on acclaimed titles such as Divinity: Original Sin, Dying Light 2, Harold Halibut, and Horizon: Call of the Mountain. If this game piques your interest, be sure to add it to your Steam wishlist and stay tuned for more updates as the release date approaches.
