Getting Your Horse Back in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Right off the bat, it's worth noting that you can reunite with your original horse, Pebbles, in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. Head south to Semine and strike up a conversation with the horse trader NPC to negotiate Pebbles' return.
However, the trader won't hand over Pebbles without a bit of persuasion. You'll need to either shell out some Groschen or use your charm or intimidation to sway him. In my journey, following the main questline led me to work with Radovan the blacksmith, which allowed me to snag some noble attire. This new look helped me successfully persuade the trader to return Pebbles without payment, though it did ding my reputation in Semine slightly.
If your persuasion skills don't cut it, be prepared to pay up if you're determined to get Pebbles back.
How to Steal a Horse
If negotiating isn't your style, you might consider taking a horse the old-fashioned way. While wild horses are scarce in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, you're more likely to find them at farms or in stables. Stealing one, however, comes with the risk of being caught.
I suggest making your way to Vidlak Pond in the west, where a farmhouse owned by fishermen sits in the wilderness. They keep two horses there, and you can simply mount one and gallop away.
After securing your new ride, head to the Nomads’ Camp just east of there. Speak with the horse trainer NPC to learn the ropes of saddling and taming your stolen steed. Keep in mind, you'll need to compensate the NPC for his expertise.
Alternatively, you can choose to bypass the trainer and ride your horse as is, though learning proper horse handling can enhance your experience.
And there you have it—the ways to get a horse in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. For more tips and insights on the game, be sure to check out The Escapist.
