Genshin Beetle Bowl Challenge: Conquer Shuyu's Battle

Author : Grace Feb 02,2025

Conquer Shuyu's Baffling Beetle Battle Bowl in Genshin Impact Version 5.3! This guide provides a straightforward walkthrough for this limited-time beetle-battling event.

Event Requirements:

  • Adventure Rank 20 or higher.
  • Completion of the Mondstadt Archon Quest Prologue. Completing Xianyun's Story Quest "Grus Serena Chapter" adds context but isn't mandatory.

Gameplay Mechanics:

This event features simulated beetle battles within the Serenitea Pot on Mt. Aocang. You control an Onikabuto beetle using simple controls: Forward, Backward, and Jump. Stamina management is key; movements and Piercing Strikes (charged attacks) consume stamina.

Stage-by-Stage Strategies:

The event consists of five battles against progressively challenging opponents:

  1. "Staff Master Who Only Uses Basic Horizontal Sweeps": A basic Hilichurl; focus attacks on its head, dodging its predictable attacks.
  2. "Staff Master Who Waves a Torch About Non-Stop": A Hilichurl Berserker with a Pyro Slime. Target the head and the Slime, especially when it's preparing to throw the Slime.
  3. "Mumbly-Bumbly Red-Hot Mage": A Pyro Abyss Mage. Interrupt its fire spell casting, then attack.
  4. "Bouncy, Energetic Mage Who’s Actually Freezing Cold": A Cryo Abyss Mage. Use the same strategy as the Pyro Abyss Mage.
  5. "Big Guy Said to be Solid as a Mini Mountain": A Stonehide Lawachurl. Attack quickly, dodging its attacks. A Geo Slime will appear; use a Piercing Strike for maximum damage.
