"Fortnite Leak Hints at New Godzilla, Monsterverse Skins"

Summary

  • Leakers suggest Mechagodzilla may debut in Fortnite for 1,800 V-Bucks or as part of a larger bundle.
  • King Kong is also rumored to appear in Fortnite's Item Shop for 1,500 V-Bucks, though their presence on the map remains uncertain.
  • Fans eagerly await potential crossovers, such as one with Demon Slayer, following Fortnite's successful collaborations with various anime and other franchises.

A prominent Fortnite leaker has sparked excitement by suggesting that Mechagodzilla could make its debut alongside Godzilla on January 17. Fortnite is currently navigating through Chapter 6 Season 1, which has introduced numerous updates and changes to the game. Epic Games has revamped the locker system and modified the user interface for quests, notably with the addition of Godzilla-themed challenges.

Since the launch of Chapter 6 Season 1, Fortnite has embraced a variety of collaborations. Over the years, the battle royale has featured crossovers with Cyberpunk 2077, Star Wars, DC Comics, and even Mariah Carey during the 14-day Winterfest event. The current battle pass showcases significant partnerships, including Baymax from Big Hero 6 and Godzilla.

In a recent Twitter post, the well-known Fortnite leaker Hypex hinted that Mechagodzilla could soon be available in the game's Item Shop. This version of Mechagodzilla would be modeled after the MonsterVerse design. It's speculated that this mechanical monster might cost 1,800 V-Bucks alone or be bundled with other items. While Mechagodzilla is expected to be a cosmetic option for players, Godzilla will take on a more interactive role as a full boss on the map, complete with a medallion that players can claim during matches.

Fortnite Leaker Claims Mechagodzilla Is Coming to the Item Shop

Leaks also indicate that King Kong will join Fortnite alongside Godzilla and Mechagodzilla. However, it's unclear whether King Kong will appear on the map during Chapter 6 Season 1. Although fans are eager to see these titans clash across the map, Epic Games has not confirmed such an event. Leakers predict that King Kong will be available in the Item Shop for 1,500 V-Bucks and might be part of a larger bundle that could include accessories or even Mechagodzilla.

The Fortnite community is buzzing with excitement over the introduction of these iconic monsters. Yet, many fans are still holding out hope for a rumored crossover with Demon Slayer, which would bring characters from the popular anime into the game. Fortnite has a history of successful anime collaborations, including franchises like Dragon Ball Z, Naruto, and My Hero Academia. With the influx of new content, players are keenly anticipating what Epic Games has in store for the future.
