Author : Ava Apr 28,2025

Fortnite is gearing up to celebrate Star Wars in a spectacular fashion with its upcoming season, Galactic Battle, set to launch on May 2, 2025. This season promises an immersive Star Wars experience, featuring a themed Battle Pass and a thrilling five-part saga filled with surprises. One of the most exciting additions is the introduction of Darth Jar Jar to the Battle Royale mode, a twist that has fans buzzing with anticipation.

The announcement was made during Star Wars Celebration, where attendees were treated to a sneak peek of the upcoming Star Wars-themed content. Among the highlights is the introduction of Force Lightning as a new in-game ability, adding a powerful new dimension to gameplay.

The Star Wars-themed Battle Pass will include iconic characters such as Emperor Palpatine and unique mashups like Wookiee Cuddle Team Leader. The Item Shop will feature new offerings, including Mace Windu. Players will also have the chance to pilot and co-pilot X-Wings and TIE Fighters, explore themed map locations, and engage with a host of other Star Wars-inspired content.

The season's narrative will unfold over five weeks, each with a distinct theme:

  • Imperial Takeover – May 2, 2025
  • The Pull of the Force – May 8, 2025
  • Mandalorian Rising – May 22, 2025
  • Star Destroyer Bombardment – May 29, 2025
  • Death Star Sabotage – June 7, 2025

This saga will culminate in a live in-game narrative event, promising an experience that will make players feel as though they hold the fate of the galaxy in their hands.
