Firefighting Simulator: Ignite Launches on PC, PS5, Xbox

Developer weltenbauer Software Entwicklung, the creators behind the popular Construction Simulator series, along with publisher astragon, have unveiled their latest project, Firefighting Simulator: Ignite. Powered by Unreal Engine 5, this immersive simulation game allows players to step into the shoes of a firefighter, tackling a variety of intense scenarios including rescuing trapped citizens, battling electrical fires, managing flammable liquids, and confronting grease fires, backdrafts, flashovers, and explosions. The game also supports four-player co-op, enhancing the teamwork aspect of firefighting. Firefighting Simulator: Ignite is set to launch in Fall 2025 and will be available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.

The game aims to deliver a highly realistic experience with advanced fire, smoke, and heat physics. To further enhance immersion, Firefighting Simulator: Ignite features officially licensed firefighting equipment and tools from top industry brands like HAIX, Fire-Dex, and STIHL. Players will have access to a range of tools including fire hoses, saws, Halligan tools, axes, and extinguishers, as well as personal protective equipment. Additionally, the game includes authentic fire trucks from Rosenbauer America, such as the TP3 Pumper, Viper, 68' Roadrunner, and the brand-new RTX.

Players can also personalize their characters, adding a touch of individuality to their firefighting experience. The Extended Edition of the game offers additional perks, including a Dalmatian dog for your firehouse. Furthermore, Firefighting Simulator: Ignite supports modding on both PC and consoles, allowing for extended gameplay and community engagement.
