Final Destination: Bloodlines is making a killing at the global box office, surpassing the $100 million mark during its launch weekend. The film raked in an even split of $51 million domestically and $51 million internationally, totaling an impressive $102 million globally. This marks the best opening weekend box office for any Final Destination film to date. With such a strong start, Bloodlines is well-positioned to surpass the current record holder, The Final Destination, which earned $186.1 million in 2009, and become the highest-grossing film in the franchise.

The success of Final Destination: Bloodlines is a significant revival for the franchise, which has been dormant since 2011's Final Destination 5, which grossed $157 million worldwide. IGN’s review of Final Destination: Bloodlines awarded it an 8/10, stating, "Final Destination: Bloodlines amps up the absurdity of Death’s design, and the resulting horror-comedy will have you dying laughing." PlayMeanwhile, the MCU film Thunderbolts* has now reached $325.7 million worldwide after three weeks in theaters. For comparison, Captain America: Brave New World concluded its theatrical run with $415 million at the global box office.

Sinners, directed by Ryan Coogler, continues its impressive run, now boasting $316.6 million at the global box office. On the other hand, A Minecraft Movie is inching closer to the $1 billion mark, currently standing at $928.6 million globally.
