Kodansha Game Creators Lab, in collaboration with Fairy Tail's creator, Hiro Mashima, has unveiled plans to release three new titles under the "Fairy Tail Indie Game Guild" project. These games, developed by passionate indie developers, are set to launch on PC and promise to deliver unique experiences to both fans of the series and gamers alike.
The three titles announced are Fairy Tail: Dungeons, Fairy Tail: Beach Volleyball Havoc, and Fairy Tail: Birth of Magic. The first two games are scheduled for release on August 26 and September 16, 2024, respectively, while Fairy Tail: Birth of Magic is still in development with more details to be shared soon.
"This indie game project began when FAIRY TAIL author Hiro Mashima expressed his desire to see a FAIRY TAIL game come to life," Kodansha stated in their announcement video. "These games are crafted with love for FAIRY TAIL, combined with the unique strengths and creative visions of the developers, ensuring an enjoyable experience for both FAIRY TAIL enthusiasts and the broader gaming community."

Fairy Tail: Dungeons is an innovative deck-building roguelite adventure game where players will join the Fairy Tail characters on a thrilling dungeon exploration. Using a limited number of moves and a strategically crafted deck of skill cards, players will battle enemies and delve deeper into the dungeons.
Developed by ginolabo, the game features a captivating soundtrack by Hiroki Kikuta, the renowned composer behind Secret of Mana. "The world of Fairy Tail comes alive through Celtic-inspired sounds that add a vibrant backdrop to the battles and story scenes," Kikuta shared.
Fairy Tail: Beach Volleyball Havoc Releasing on Sept. 16, 2024
Fairy Tail: Beach Volleyball Havoc is a dynamic sports action game that brings 2vs2 multiplayer beach volleyball battles to life. This game offers a competitive, chaotic, and magic-infused beach volleyball experience featuring characters from the Fairy Tail universe. Players can choose from a roster of 32 characters to form their ultimate beach volleyball team.
Developed by tiny cactus studio, MASUDATARO, and veryOK, this game promises to deliver an action-packed and entertaining experience for players.
