Brawl Stars is set to make a splash with its upcoming SpongeBob season, merging the colorful world of Bikini Bottom with the thrilling action of Brawl Stars. Imagine your favorite characters from SpongeBob SquarePants transformed into brawlers – it's an exciting prospect! The latest Brawl Talk has spilled the beans on this collaboration and other exciting updates coming soon.
When Is The Brawl Stars x SpongeBob Collab?
The Brawl Stars x SpongeBob event kicks off on September 5th and will run through to October 2nd. This crossover promises an array of fun elements, including themed skins, unique game modes, and new power-ups.
One of the new game modes is Jellyfishing, a 3v3 showdown where your objective is to catch and hold onto jellyfish for five seconds. Be careful though; if you get taken down, you'll lose your catch. Another mode is Trio Showdown, featuring 12 players split into 4 teams of three. Here, you can revive as long as one of your teammates is still in the game.
Introducing the new brawlers: Moe arrives on August 29th. This blind rat, known for his sewer-dwelling and digging prowess, will throw stones at enemies and can use his Super to jump into a digging machine, tearing across the map. You can also grab his Monterey Moe Skin for just 29 Gems. Following Moe, Kenji will debut on September 26th. This samurai-turned-sushi chef boasts impressive slicing skills and will sport the Fruit Samurai skin.
What About SpongeBob Brawlers?
The Brawl Stars x SpongeBob season introduces a range of themed skins and a special currency called Krusty Kash. You'll see SpongeBob El Primo, Patrick Buzz, Squidward Mortis, Sandy Jessie, Mr. Krabs Ticks, and Plankton Darryl. Power-ups include Krabby Patties that orbit around your character and a Clarinet attack inspired by Squidward's "beautiful" music. There's also an upgrade system to enhance these power-ups further, detailed in September's Brawl Talk video.
To acquire these power-ups, you'll need to collect Krusty Kash, which you can earn by winning games with a SpongeBob modifier or by claiming daily freebies. So, download Brawl Stars from the Google Play Store and get ready for the SpongeBob season!
