How the Northern Summit Buttons Puzzle Works
While exploring the Northern Summit mountain, you can discover four Energy Crystals. These crystals are essential for solving the puzzle at the summit and gaining access to the Heaven's Rod. Although priced at 1,750,000 C$, this rod boasts impressive stats, making the effort worthwhile. However, the Red Energy Crystal is not found directly. You must first gather the other three, then speak with an NPC in the Glacial Grotto. They will task you with uncovering secrets on other islands, requiring you to locate and press five buttons to obtain the Red Crystal in Fisch.
Every Button Location for the Red Crystal
Fortunately, you won't need to comb every inch of each island. Instead, just visit these five specific locations in Fisch to find and activate all the buttons.
Moosewood Island Button Location
This is the easiest button to find in Fisch. Simply look behind the leaderboard by the pier, close to the ground.
Roslit Bay Button Location
After arriving at the pier, head inland. You'll encounter the Angler NPC near a campsite. Search the logs on the ground to find the second button.
Forsaken Shores Button Location
On this island, go to the right side where the watchtowers stand. Even from a boat, a red glow is visible from one tower. Specifically, climb the tower nearest the pier to find the button.
Snowcap Island Button Location
The fourth button is cleverly hidden and easy to overlook. Head to Upper Snowcap and locate the Wilson NPC. Check the wooden fence beside him to discover the button in Fisch.
Ancient Isle Button Location
On Ancient Isle, simply go to the unfinished lighthouse. The final button is positioned beside the entrance.
Once you've pressed all five buttons, return to the Glacial Grotto. Speak again with the NPC near the large crystals to unlock the path to the Red Energy Crystal.
