Devsisters Previews New 'MyCookie' Mode in Cookie Run: Kingdom

Author : Christopher Jan 22,2025

Cookie Run: Kingdom is adding a highly anticipated "MyCookie" mode, letting players create and customize their own unique cookies! This exciting update also includes new minigames, fresh content, and more. The timing couldn't be better, arriving on the heels of the controversial Dark Cacao update.

Devsisters showcased the MyCookie maker on the game's Twitter, revealing the ability to design and decorate custom cookies. A sneak peek also revealed new minigames like "Error Busters" and a quiz. However, the custom cookie creation feature is sure to be the highlight for many fans.

Last month's Dark Cacao update sparked significant backlash from the community due to the introduction of a new, higher-rarity version instead of a rework of the existing character. This new update, with its focus on player agency and customization, may serve as a positive response to that criticism.

While it's likely this update was in development long before the Dark Cacao controversy, its release now could help shift the focus towards positive player experiences. The combination of custom cookie creation and new minigames makes this a substantial update.
