The New Denpa Men has now made its way to Android devices, following its initial launch on the Nintendo Switch in July 2024. Developed and published by Genius Sonority, this charming game brings some exciting differences between its mobile and console counterparts.
Now You Can Take Your Quirky Little Denpa Crew on the Go!
One of the standout features of The New Denpa Men on Android is its support for cross-platform play. If you've already been catching and battling Denpa Men on the Switch, you can seamlessly transfer your progress and continue your adventure on your mobile device.
Exclusive to the Android (and iOS) versions, a new feature called QR Catch has been introduced. This allows you to scan nearby QR codes to add Denpa Men to your team, replacing the Normal Catch method used on the Switch. However, some features like Together Catch and Offline Catch from the Switch version are not available on mobile.
Another exciting addition to the Android version is the Voucher Collection feature. After battles, monsters drop vouchers called Akashi at random. Collecting these vouchers helps you complete your collection, and they can be gifted to friends or used strategically in battles.
The game also introduces a fun twist with scarecrows. You can now summon monsters using them, and these summoned creatures will fight alongside you, attacking enemies and healing your party. To get a better feel of the game, check out the trailer below.
