All-Star Superman frequently ranks at the top of lists celebrating the greatest Superman comics, including IGN's Top 25, and now fans have a new way to dive into this iconic story. DC and Penguin Random House are collaborating to bring All-Star Superman to life as a full-cast audiobook.
The adaptation is being handled by Meghan Fitzmartin, based on the original work by Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely. Quitely has contributed a fresh cover illustration for the audiobook, showcased below:
All-Star Superman is a standalone tale set in a universe where Superman faces his mortality after flying too close to the sun. The narrative follows Kal-El as he shares his secret with Lois Lane and embarks on a series of heroic tasks reminiscent of the 12 Labors of Hercules, culminating in a final confrontation with his arch-nemesis, Lex Luthor.

The All-Star Superman audiobook is set for release on June 24, 2025, just one month before James Gunn's Superman movie premieres in theaters.
It's worth noting that All-Star Superman was previously adapted into an animated movie in 2011.
