If you've been following our regular feature, the App Army Assemble, you might recall the warm reception we gave to the cyberpunk roguelike deckbuilder, Cyber Quest. If you were intrigued then, the latest update featuring the new Adventure Mode is bound to draw you in even further!
So, what's new? Adventure Mode offers a more relaxed way to explore the urban landscape of Cyber Quest. You can engage with a variety of quirky characters, take on odd jobs, make tough decisions, or even try your luck at a new casino. Dive into hacking minigames, uncover hidden secrets, and encounter powerful allies and formidable foes.
That's not all; the update also includes new text adventure events. Beyond the adventure aspect, there's a fresh card class called Hopper, new enemy dialogues to enjoy, a crew randomizer to mix up your next run, and squads to unlock a variety of preset characters and more!
Cyber Quest is a recent release that caught my attention, not least because it blends several of my favorite elements. While the roguelike deckbuilder genre has become increasingly crowded, it's refreshing to see an indie title gain such prominence. The addition of Adventure Mode is sure to enhance the game's longevity, appealing to both new and returning players!
Speaking of new releases, don't miss out on our latest reviews. This week, Jack Brassel dives into another popular genre with EvoCreo 2, tackling more creature-collecting action.
