Cult Classic Roguelike Rhythm Game Debuts on Android

Crunchyroll brings the rhythm-based roguelike, Crypt of the NecroDancer, to Android! Now available as "Crunchyroll: NecroDancer," this beat-matching adventure originally launched on PC in 2015, previously appearing briefly on iOS and Android. This Crunchyroll release, however, boasts enhanced features and expanded content for both iOS and Android users.

What awaits you in the Crypt?

Players take on the role of Cadence, a treasure hunter's daughter searching for her missing parent within a rhythmically challenging crypt. The roguelike nature ensures unique gameplay experiences with every playthrough. Fifteen playable characters, each with distinct styles, add replayability. Danny Baranowsky's original soundtrack provides the pulse for this dance-infused dungeon crawler. Every action, from movement to attacks, must sync with the music; miss a beat, and you're out! Expect a cast of equally rhythmic enemies, from dancing skeletons to hip-hop dragons.

More Than Just a Port

This mobile version isn't just a simple port. Crunchyroll and Brace Yourself Games have included remixes, new content, and even Danganronpa character skins. Cross-platform multiplayer and mod support are also integrated. Furthermore, DLC featuring Hatsune Miku and the Synchrony expansion is planned for later this year. Crunchyroll subscribers can download the game now from the Google Play Store.
