TRAGsoft is adding a roguelike twist to its popular monster-taming RPG, Coromon, with the upcoming release of Coromon: Rogue Planet. Launching across multiple platforms, including Android, in 2025, the game promises a fresh take on the franchise.
What to Expect:
A new trailer accompanies the announcement, showcasing exciting new features. Coromon: Rogue Planet retains the classic turn-based combat of its predecessor but integrates roguelite elements for increased replayability. Players will explore the ever-changing Veluan wilderness, featuring over ten dynamic biomes.
The game introduces a "rescue and recruit" mechanic, allowing players to unlock seven unique characters, each with their own distinct playstyle, by assisting them in the wild. Over 130 monsters, each with unique elemental affinities, personalities, and skills, await discovery.
A meta-progression system ensures continuous character growth and improvement, encouraging players to collect resources and contribute to an overarching interstellar spaceship mystery, potentially with other players.
