Freedom Wars Remastered offers diverse loadout customization options. While weapons and Thrones are less frequently swapped, Combat Items—consumable resources with various uses—require strategic management.
Completing operations sometimes yields Combat Items, but rarely enough for substantial stockpiling. Initially, only one Combat Item can be equipped; this guide addresses both issues.
How To Equip More Combat Items In Freedom Wars Remastered
Increasing your Combat Item capacity requires specific Entitlements. In your cell, access the Window On Liberty and select "Claim Entitlements." Navigate to the Equipment section, then switch to the right tab to find the One-Item Permit. Subsequent permits, obtained sequentially, increase your Combat Item slots to a maximum of four.
Story progression unlocks these permits quickly; all four are purchasable by CODE level 3. Each permit unlocks after purchasing the previous one. Equipping a Combat Item utilizes your entire stack; equipping a Frag Grenade, for example, consumes all available grenades at the operation's start.
Your Accessory slot can also hold one Combat Item, used at your discretion.
Where To Get More Combat Items In Freedom Wars Remastered
After progressing through the initial missions, The Warren HUB area becomes accessible. Zakka's store, located on the upper level's right side, sells weapons and supplies. The "Buy Items" option accesses Munitions (damage-dealing items) and Medical Supplies (healing, ailment curing, and ammo replenishing items).
Combat Items have individual prices; bulk purchases consume significant Entitlement Points. Donating old resources is advisable if needing many Medkits. While Operations sometimes reward Combat Items, this isn't a reliable farming method due to completion time and potential consumption exceeding rewards.
