"Clair Obscur is the franchise name. Expedition 33 is one of the stories we plan to tell within this universe," director Guillaume Broche explained in an interview with MrMattyPlays (via TheGamer).
"It's still too early to share specifics about the format or concept, but one thing is certain: this is only the beginning for the Clair Obscur franchise."
To erase any doubt, Broche also discussed his approach to "writing sequels," making it clear that a follow-up title is in development. Stay tuned for more updates.
