Castle Doombad is back! The tower defense strategy game, originally released in 2014, returns as Castle Doombad: Free To Slay on Android, courtesy of Grumpyface Studios and Yodo1.
Grumpyface, known for hits like Steven Universe: Attack the Light and Teeny Titans, initially planned a single remake. However, they've split the project into two: Free To Slay for mobile, and Castle Doombad Classic, a remastered version with updated content, launching later this year on Nintendo Switch and Steam. A sequel, Castle Doombad 2: Muahaha!, is also in development.

A cosmetic system, "spoils," lets you customize your Dark Lord and his lair with evil artifacts. Combine these with "Baddie Bonus" perks for enhanced gameplay.
