Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team renews partnership with original creator\'s football club

Author : Ava Mar 30,2025

Sometimes, the lines between reality and fiction blur in fascinating ways, and the story of Nankatsu SC is a perfect example of this phenomenon. It's not just about sponsored events or merchandise; it's about a fictional character coming to life! That's why it's no surprise that Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team is set to renew its partnership with the club.

What makes Nankatsu SC so special? For fans of the Captain Tsubasa series, the answer is clear: the club is named after the hometown of the titular character, Tsubasa Ozora. This connection is further strengthened by the fact that the series' creator, Yoichi Takahashi, serves as the president of Nankatsu SC. It's a dream come true for fans to see their favorite fictional elements intertwined with reality.

To celebrate this renewed partnership, a series of exciting in-game events are planned. The highlight is the Nankatsu SC Support Super Dream Festival, running from March 28th to April 11th. During this event, players can enjoy the original middle school version of Tsubasa Ozora, complete with a digital autograph from Yoichi Takahashi himself.

Football dreamsEven if you're not particularly interested in the new version of Tsubasa, there's still plenty to enjoy. The Nankatsu SC Support: Dream Match, which runs from March 28th to April 30th, offers login rewards including 8 Dreamballs and 4,000 Customize Medals, along with various cosmetic items.

The festivities don't stop there. From March 28th until December, players can exchange Event Medals earned from completing scenarios for the in-game Nankatsu SC 2025 Season Uniforms and other rewards. This extended period ensures that even those who miss some limited-time events can still participate and enjoy the benefits.
