This sequel is especially exciting as it marks the return of DC's President, Publisher, and Chief Creative Officer, Jim Lee, to the helm of a monthly Batman comic. The storyline kicks off in Batman #158, slated for release in March, and serves as a direct follow-up to the critically acclaimed Hush series that ran from 2002 to 2004.

Although DC has explored various Hush-related narratives since the original saga concluded, Batman: Hush 2 stands out as it brings back the original creative team. This includes writer Jeph Loeb, artist Jim Lee, inker Scott Williams, colorist Alex Sinclair, and letterer Richard Starkings, ensuring a continuation that stays true to the essence of the first series.
Building on the recent epilogue featured in the Batman: Hush 20th Anniversary Edition, Hush 2 delves into a gripping new mystery. Batman uncovers evidence that his childhood friend, Tommy Elliot, aka Hush, survived their last encounter. This revelation sets the stage for Hush to manipulate Batman's network of allies and adversaries, promising a thrilling narrative.
The Hush 2 storyline will unfold across Batman issues #158 to #163, with the first issue, #158, hitting the shelves on March 26. Following this arc, DC plans to relaunch the series with a new #1 issue and a fresh costume, heralding a new era for the Dark Knight under the guidance of writer Matt Fraction and artist Jorge Jimenez.
