After completing the main quest in Assassin's Creed Shadows, you retain access to the entire expansive open world of Feudal Japan. The game is packed with side content that remains available, allowing you to fully explore and immerse yourself in the rich environment. Moreover, post-launch, the Animus will introduce new weekly challenges, ensuring that even after achieving 100% completion, there's always something fresh to engage with.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows Epilogue and Endgame Explained

Finishing the main quest doesn't necessarily mean the end of the story in Assassin's Creed Shadows. After completing the Shinbakufu Objective Board and the main quests for Yasuke and Naoe, the credits roll. However, to unlock the epilogue and the true ending, you must complete the personal stories of Naoe, Yasuke, and Junjiro. Following this, return to the Hideout and speak with Tomiko to witness the complete ending and earn the associated achievements.

Additionally, at the game's conclusion, players can unlock exclusive gear themed around the Assassins for Naoe and the Templars for Yasuke. These armor sets come with unique perks that enhance each protagonist's play style and offer a nostalgic nod to fans of the Assassin's Creed series. The endgame allows players to continue progressing beyond the credits, up to the game's maximum level cap.
