Studio Wildcard just announced exciting news – ARK: Ultimate Survivor Edition is coming to mobile devices! The Android version launches this holiday season (2024), letting players take their dinosaur adventures anywhere.
Is The Mobile Version Different From PC?
The mobile edition isn't a watered-down port – it's the complete PC experience with all expansion packs included. You'll get Scorched Earth, Aberration, Extinction, Genesis Parts 1 & 2, plus the fan-favorite Ragnarok community map.
Grove Street Games developed this mobile adaptation while preserving everything that makes ARK great. You'll find the same massive open worlds, over 150 prehistoric creatures to tame, multiplayer tribe systems, and deep crafting/building mechanics.
At launch, players can explore ARK Island and Scorched Earth maps, with remaining expansions arriving throughout 2025. Significant Unreal Engine 4 improvements bring this expansive adventure to mobile platforms. Watch the official trailer below!
About The Original Game
ARK: Ultimate Survivor Edition first launched in 2015 as a survival experience where players wake up naked and vulnerable on a mysterious island. The game requires hunting, farming, crafting, and shelter building to survive.
Players can tame, breed and ride dinosaurs while exploring environments ranging from primal jungles to futuristic alien structures. Both single-player and multiplayer modes are available.
