Arctic Expansion in Monster Hunter Season 4

Monster Hunter Now's Season 4: A Frosty New Adventure!

Niantic has unleashed Season 4 of Monster Hunter Now, transporting hunters to a breathtaking winter wonderland. Prepare for icy challenges and exciting new additions to keep your hunts thrilling, even with virtual frostbite!

What's New in Monster Hunter Now Season 4?

This season introduces a snowy tundra habitat, complete with biting winds, deep snowdrifts, and a host of formidable monsters. Prepare to face Lagombi, Volvidon, Somnacanth, and the fearsome Tigrex, all making their debut. Barioth, along with smaller monsters like Wulg and Cortos, also join the fray. Tigrex will be a major opponent in Hunt-a-thons and may even surprise you in the field. Unlock these powerful creatures by completing urgent quests throughout Season 4's story chapters. Access to the tundra is granted upon completing the prologue.

A brand-new weapon, the Switch Axe, arrives in Season 4. This versatile weapon offers the best of both worlds: powerful, far-reaching strikes in Axe Mode, and ferocious close-quarters combat in Sword Mode. Unlock the Switch Gauge by finishing Chapter 2's pre-season story.

Customize your very own Palico companion! These helpful allies assist in gathering materials and scouting monsters. Personalize their fur color, facial features, and even give them a unique name. AR enthusiasts can even bring their custom Palico into the real world for some memorable photos.

Season 4 also introduces Friend Cheering, adding a collaborative element to your hunts. Send cheers to your friends to provide them with a temporary health boost for the day. Note that there's a limit to the amount of health that can be gained from cheers.
