Two exciting Pokémon from the Galar region are making their debut in Pokémon Go this month, offering players a mix of sweetness and power. From April 24th to 29th, the Sweet Discoveries event introduces the adorable Dragon/Grass-type, Applin. To evolve Applin, you'll need 200 Applin Candy and 20 apples. Use Tart Apples to evolve into Flapple or Sweet Apples for Appletun. These apples can be found in the wild, particularly near Mossy Lures, and may even trigger Applin encounters.
During the Sweet Discoveries event, expect to encounter wild Pokémon like Bounsweet, Skwovet, and Delibird. Field Research and Eggs will give you more chances to catch themed Pokémon such as Munchlax and Cherubi. Timed Research, available in both free and paid versions, allows you to obtain Sweet and Tart Apples. The paid version offers extra Mossy Lure Modules and additional Applin encounters.
Be sure to check out the Applin Headband and Apron available in the shop and participate in PokéStop Showcases featuring themed Pokémon. If you're more interested in high-octane action, mark your calendar for the Max Battle Weekend on April 26th–27th, where Dynamax Entei will make its fiery debut. With some luck, you might even encounter a Shiny Entei.
Prepare for these events with these Pokémon Go codes to enhance your gameplay experience.
During both events, you can enjoy several bonuses, including an increased Max Particle cap, reduced distance needed to collect them, and faster Power Spot refresh rates. Additionally, you'll earn eight times more Max Particles from each Power Spot. Starting April 21st, free Timed Research will be available, rewarding you with a Dynamax Sobble to help counter Entei’s fiery attacks.
Gear up for these events by visiting the Pokémon Go Web Store to stock up on necessary items.
