The Celestial Guardians expansion for Pokémon TCG Pocket is set for global release on April 30, 2025. Immerse yourself in the Alola region, exploring its vibrant landscapes under both sun and moonlight.
Celestial Guardians Expansion Highlights
This update introduces two digital booster packs featuring Solgaleo and Lunala as key characters, alongside Lillie and other familiar faces from the Alola era.
Collectors will find over 200 new cards, including powerful Pokémon ex variants like Solgaleo ex and Lunala ex. The expansion also debuts Alola's starter Pokémon—Rowlet, Litten, and Popplio—marking their first appearance in the Pocket app.
From May 1st, players can showcase their collection with exclusive Rowlet-themed accessories including a custom binder cover and display board.
Upcoming In-Game Events
From April 30th (06:00 UTC) to May 13th (05:59 UTC), participate in solo battles to earn promotional cards featuring Rayquaza ex.
Concurrent special missions running until May 29th (05:59 UTC) offer chances to obtain an alternate Rayquaza ex variant, along with exclusive accessories and rewards.
The Pokémon TCG Pocket Half-Year Celebration begins April 29th (23:00 PDT), preceding the expansion launch. Until May 12th, solo battles will distribute Promo Pack A Series Vol. 7 boosters containing the new Rayquaza ex promo card, with missions continuing through May 28th.
