AFK Journey's next season, "Chains of Eternity," is bringing significant updates! This free-to-play RPG will receive a fresh injection of content, including a new map, storyline, and heroes. Here's the release schedule and what to expect.
Chains of Eternity Season Release Date
The global version of AFK Journey will launch "Chains of Eternity" on January 17th.
Players on other servers will gain access once their server reaches 35 days of age and they meet these prerequisites:
- Reach Resonance Level 240.
- Complete all pre-season AFK stages.
Meeting these conditions and having a server at least 35 days old ensures you'll receive the update on the official release date.
New Content in Chains of Eternity
Beyond the new map and story, "Chains of Eternity" introduces several exciting additions:
- New Heroes: Lorsan (Wilder), Elijah and Lailah (Celestial)
- New Boss: Illucia (Dream Realm boss)
This season also features gameplay adjustments: a daily cap on AFK progress, Paragon level revisions, and Exclusive Equipment enhancements. Paragon levels will provide significantly greater impact, and upgrading Exclusive Equipment from +15 to +20 will offer a substantial boost. This means investing in Supreme+ units will yield higher returns, though the investment cost increases significantly beyond +15.
