2D Point-And-Click Adventure Midnight Girl Is Now Out On Mobile

Midnight Girl is now out on mobile. It’s a 2D adventure game by Italic Studio and originally launched in November 2023 for PC. It’s free to play on Android and lets you dive into a nostalgic heist story set against a 1960s Paris backdrop.

What Do You Do In This Mobile Version Of Midnight Girl?

You take on the role of Monique, a Parisian cat burglar with big dreams. The story begins with Monique meeting Night Owl, a legendary burglar, in jail. Together, they set their sights on the Luxembourg diamond, hidden away in a vault beneath Paris.

Monique needs to get her hands on the valuable diamond. Because she has to buy her way to Chile to reconnect with her estranged father. So, they do everything possible, from impersonating nunnery staff to evading guards in the Paris Metro.

But things are never that simple. Someone else is watching her, and the heist gets a lot more complicated. You’ll find yourself working through a series of inventory-based puzzles, with the story split into twelve chapters.

The point-and-click mechanics in Midnight Girl mobile are straightforward. You click to explore hotspots, use items, expand maps and whatnot. The setting of 1960s Paris is also well-detailed, with jazz playing in the background.

So, Will You Take Part In The Heist?

Midnight Girl is a nice blend of light moments and moments of tension. You get to know Monique’s life story, from her pre-teen days to her current scenario. If you love point-and-click puzzle games which also feel like a visual novel, you might want to give this a try.
