Fire Emblem Joins Nintendo Switch Online (48字符) 或 Classic Fire Emblem Hits Switch Online (45字符)

Exciting news! Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones is now available in the Nintendo Switch Online game library.

Originally launched for the Game Boy Advance in 2004, this tactical RPG reached Western audiences in 2005. The story follows twin siblings Eirika and Ephraim, heirs to the Renais throne, as they battle to reclaim their kingdom while uncovering the shocking betrayal of a former ally.

For many players, this marks their first chance to experience The Sacred Stones - not only is it two decades old, but it was only the second Fire Emblem title localized for Western markets and the franchise's final GBA installment.

We gave Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones an 8.5/10 in our 2005 review, praising it as: "A worthy successor that maintains the excellent GBA Fire Emblem gameplay while introducing a fresh narrative, much like Advance Wars 2 improved upon its predecessor."

Nintendo Switch Online offers subscribers access to multiplayer features and a growing catalog of classic games from Nintendo's consoles, including NES, SNES, Game Boy, and Nintendo 64 titles. With the Nintendo Switch 2 launch approaching, GameCube classics will soon join this retro gaming collection. New members can try the service with a seven-day free trial.

About Nintendo's next-generation console: The Nintendo Switch 2 launch faced unexpected delays when recent U.S. import tariffs disrupted the original June 5, 2025 release plan. The $449.99 console will now have pre-orders starting April 24, 2025 with unchanged pricing.

Fans can sign up for notifications through My Nintendo Store to receive purchase invitations. Priority access will be given to active Nintendo Switch Online members with 50+ logged gameplay hours as of April 2, 2025.
