Exciting news! Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones is now available in the Nintendo Switch Online game library.
Originally launched for the Game Boy Advance in 2004, this tactical RPG reached Western audiences in 2005. The story follows twin siblings Eirika and Ephraim, heirs to the Renais throne, as they battle to reclaim their kingdom while uncovering the shocking betrayal of a former ally.
For many players, this marks their first chance to experience The Sacred Stones - not only is it two decades old, but it was only the second Fire Emblem title localized for Western markets and the franchise's final GBA installment.
We gave Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones an 8.5/10 in our 2005 review, praising it as: "A worthy successor that maintains the excellent GBA Fire Emblem gameplay while introducing a fresh narrative, much like Advance Wars 2 improved upon its predecessor."
