A digital well-being live wallpaper that generates unique art.
This live wallpaper responds to your touch by creating a circle. A square then travels from your last touch point to this new circle, leaving a trail behind it. After every 3600 squares, the screen refreshes, and a counter keeps track of the total squares drawn.
I've drawn a parallel between 3600 seconds and 3600 squares. While a swipe takes less than a second, this visual metaphor connects to how we perceive time and creates a heat map of your most-touched screen areas. The format is displayed as:
1d:13h:3600
squares
Feel free to experiment with the colors, but remember the core purpose: to encourage less screen time and more real-world connection.
This app was created with APDE (Android Processing Development Environment) and packaged using Processing 3.5.3.
