Ancient Stars is a finely tuned 3V3 competitive game. It features a unique 2.5D combat system—with 2D hand-drawn heroes battling in 3D environments—blending the excitement of arcade fighters with the strategic depth of classic MOBAs. Easy to learn, fast-paced, and rich in strategy, it offers non-stop fun. Each match is designed to last around 10 minutes, featuring a side-scrolling map where you push lanes and towers, with the ultimate goal of destroying the enemy base to claim victory.
Currently, Ancient Stars boasts 22 distinct hero characters and 9 unique character skins, each with its own style. Every hero is brought to life with custom voice acting, delivering an immersive experience that celebrates diverse global inspirations.
To bring our vibrant 2D heroes and animations to life, we brought on board the Art Director from Ironhide Studio to lead the art direction for Ancient Stars. Yes, the same creative talent behind Kingdom Rush and Iron Marines. Every hero's design, from their character art to their skill effects, has been meticulously crafted and polished! The soundscape is equally distinctive, featuring sound effects and a BGM composed by a Uruguayan composer, ensuring the game's unique flavor shines through.
