This electronic application is designed for those who wish to access the scholars and figures of the sect in the shortest possible time.
In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful.
With the rapid technological advancements that have become an essential part of daily life, it has become imperative for custodians of knowledge and science to keep pace with modernity and cultural globalization. This ensures the preservation of their scientific heritage and facilitates its accessibility to the widest possible audience.
At the Heritage Revival Center of al-Abbas's alternatives—recognized as one of the most authoritative sources in its field—it is regrettable that this rich scholarly legacy has not received the comprehensive printing and publication it deserves. Although there have been individual efforts over the centuries to publish certain volumes with meticulous care, much remains unverified and incomplete.
Therefore, we decided to produce this valuable work as an electronic application tailored for specialists and heritage enthusiasts. This app serves as a knowledge interface for those seeking to explore the scholars of the true sect and understand the conditions of its prominent figures, enabling swift and efficient access and research.
The application includes the book in three distinct formats:
- A text version closely aligned with the published edition.
- A digital replica of the printed book.
- A unique and specialized feature: the inclusion of the original manuscript handwritten by the author, may God Almighty have mercy on him. This allows researchers to verify suspected typographical errors, especially since most volumes— as previously noted—have not undergone thorough proofreading, and thus may contain inaccuracies.
Despite its simplicity, this application offers several significant advantages for researchers, summarized as follows:
- The ability to read each of the three versions independently.
- Comprehensive search functionality across the entire encyclopedia or within specific sections (including both basic and advanced search options).
- The option to copy or share text excerpts.
- The ability to print pages in any of the three high-quality formats.
- Support for dual-window viewing: one for the textual version and another for the scanned print edition, with independent zoom controls and synchronized page navigation between windows.
- An index of translators’ names for each volume, as well as a complete index across the entire encyclopedia, both fully searchable.
- The option to bookmark any page in any of the three formats to favorites.
- The ability to add personal notes or comments to any page across all three formats.
In conclusion, as we present this application to our esteemed users, we extend our deepest gratitude, appreciation, and praise to all those who contributed to this valuable project. Special recognition goes to the eminent scholar of his time, Sheikh Agha Buzurk al-Tharani, may God have mercy on him, who undertook the painstaking work of typesetting, editing, and publishing the original volumes. We also thank those who preserved and shared the written copies, making them available to researchers (fulfilling the zakat of knowledge), and to our dedicated brothers who invested their time and effort in developing this application. May God reward them all with the best recompense for the righteous.
